Lanuch of National HepC Awareness Week

Marianne Faithfull, Minister Aodhán Ó Ríordáin TD and the High Hopes choir launch First National Hepatitis C Awareness Week.

Community Response, HIV Ireland and UISCE supported by AbbVie joined together to establish the First National Hepatitis C Awareness Week.

The event was launched in Dublin's Smock Alley Theatre.  Among the guest speakers was the Marianne Faithfull and Aodhán Ó Ríordáin TD Minister of State for New Communities, Culture, Equality and Drugs Strategy.  Entertainment on the evening was the High Hopes Choir.

The other speakers for the evening was Niall Mulligan (HIV Ireland), Dr. Shay Keating, Emily Reaper (UISCE) and Nicola Perry (Community Response).
