The Hepatitis C Partnership

The Hepatitis C Partnership provides centralised information and support for all those affected by Hepatitis C in Ireland. We advocate and lobby the government to ensure the prioritisation of HCV elimination as a public healthissue in Ireland. We do this by undertaking and participating in public awareness campaigns which promote testing, treatment and general health promotion in relation to Hepatitis C.

What is Hepatitis C?

Hepatitis C is a blood borne viral infection caused by the Hepatitis C virus (HCV), it affects the liver, causing it to become inflamed and not work as effectively in the body. There is NO VACCINE BUT THERE IS A CURE......

Our dedicated liver health team can help support you to access testing and treatment for Hepatitis C, as well as discuss any concerns you may have around liver health and alcohol. Many people who have been drinking problematically for a number of years may experince issues with their liver and may develop alcohol related liver diseases such as Alcohol Hepatitis and Cirrhosis.

Our staff work closely with The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital to ensure clients can access the required testing and treatment.
