Community Response is looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a Project Worker. This role is part of the CR Team, providing frontline alcohol services. There’s also the opportunity to get involved in advocacy, outreach support, and referral pathways.

We’re looking for individuals passionate about improving the lives of people affected by addiction. The ideal candidate will show compassion, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to social justice, working closely with service users and the wider community.
Essential Criteria
At least two years of experience working in the field of addiction. Experience in providing one-to-one and group support for people in addiction. A third-level qualification (minimum Level 8) in addiction, social care, healthcare, community development or similar field. Good working knowledge of IT, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, case management systems and the ability to write clear reports.
Key Objectives:
Work as part of the Community Response team. Deliver alcohol and liver health workshops to service users, providers, and the wider community. Provide one-on-one support, care planning, and information related to alcohol-related harm and liver health. Facilitate information-based and therapeutic workshops for service users. Conduct one-on-one assessments, key working, and care planning for service users. Liaise with relevant individuals, groups, communities, healthcare providers, and others involved in the service users' care. Always apply a client-centred, trauma-informed approach.
This full-time position requires 35 hours per week. It is a permanent contract subject to annual funding, a six-month probationary period, and Garda vetting.
Salary: Based on the HSE Social Care Worker Scale (with qualifications), appointees typically start at point one, though a higher starting point may be offered for recognised prior experience.

The Management of Community Response is seeking applications for the position of Project Team Leader
Role Overview
The Team Leader will play a pivotal role in managing our primary service team and ensuring the effective delivery of our programmes. Key responsibilities include:
- Line Management of the primary service team.
- Resource planning in alignment with the Strategic Plan 2022-2026.
- Coordinating case management workloads.
- Generate accurate reports using Salesforce and other data sources.
- Ensuring the project operates to best practice standards, including compliance with QuADs, Safer Better Healthcare, Slainte Care and GDPR.
This role requires at least two years of experience managing a team, including delegating tasks and conducting performance appraisals.
